Yeah...was facebook-ing again..and i saw this...No wonder early in the morning 7am..i hear twice ambulance sirens...

Toh Yit Ming: A Tragic Incident at Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010

I would like to share a tragic incident that happened at Standard Chartered KL Marathon today…

When i was running my final 2 km on the 10km… as i was running along the road in front of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, i saw a guy was sitting on the road side then soon enough he collapsed…

this incident attracted my attention as a guy(a training doctor, named Irkhan) that was trying to help him was shouting for medic..

as i was a trained EFR, i ran over to see what is happening.. (it was around 1 hour into the race for 10km runners)

i got to know that the guy (named Lim) has collapsed and was having seizure.. we tried to place him in recovery position… he was breathing very heavily and shortly and he was also biting his teeth very very hard… i was afraid that he will hurt himself (with either biting his own tongue or he closed up his airway).. so i tried to open up his jaw and tried to communicate wif him to have him relax and breath easily.. he then slowed down his breathing and taking deeper breath…

another lady (lady A) came to help and constantly monitor on his pulse… and Dr. Visva (was another participant in the run) came over to help…

Then suddenly, his pulse was gone… then we lied him flat and started on CPR procedures… we constantly check on his pulse to check whether his pulse has come back.. we did chest compression and also mouth-to-mouth breathing to Lim…

as we were doing the CPR procedures, we did not sight medic anywhere.. and we tried to shout as loud as possible for medic…

After awhile into the CPR procedures, "lady A" said that she could feel his pulse but was very weak.. then we stopped the CPR procedures to see whether he regain consciousness or not…

After i stopped the chest compression on Lim, i started shouting for medic services again with the hope that a medic services is nearby and heard us.. but unfortunately not… we only sighted 3 DBKL Officers(with big motorcycles) just stood by the road side and just stare… the did not come over to help or to check out what happened… (it was around 10 minutes that Lim collapse and had seizure)…

after a moment, Lim loose his pulse again.. we started CPR procedures again.. we still did not sight an ambulance or any EMS(Emergency Medical Services) around… after approximately 30 compression, Lim regained his pulse but was very very weak.. and yet.. there was still no ambulance or EMS sighted… and DBKL officers still stood there and did not came over to help… so I informed a passer by to run to the officers to tell them to call for an EMS soonest possible...

after we performed CPR procedures on Lim for the the third time, finally a St. John ambulance came after around 15 - 20 minutes after Lim collapsed…

we let the EMS officers to take over the CPR and First Aid… Dr. Visva asked whether do they have the AED(Automated External Defibrillator)… one of the person from the EMS said that they do not have it.. then I asked whether do they have a face mask with pump.. they also did not have it there… THEY PRACTICALLY HAVE NOTHING IN THE AMBULANCE!!!!!!!! -.-"

EMS took him and speed their way to HKL…

we were later informed that the Response time for EMS is 3 minutes but it took them almost 20 minutes to arrive… and later.. as I was reading through the Runners Guide that was provided in our running kit…

There is a statement (at page 15) that states that "Medical Assistance - Medical Aid is available every 4km and at the Finish Area. Due to runner's physical condition, Medical Officials are authorized to stop runners and remove their timing chip"…

every 4KM MY ROYAL ASS.. I did not see any first aider, ambulance or any sort of medical officials along my 10km route… and if 4km was true.. it definitely will not take them SO LONG to arrive...

I got a call from Dr. Visva a moment ago.. he went to HKL to check out the condition of Lim and he informed me that Lim have passed away on his arrival to the hospital… T__T

Lim is only into his 20's and was running the 10KM distance…

P/s: please share this note to as many people as possible.. we will hope to create awareness on the inefficiency of EMS, DBKL officers and organiser of standard chartered KL Marathon 2010...

we also want to create an awareness that this kind of inefficiency have caused a life of a young man...

we will hope that the marathon organisers will take responsibility and make EMS a top priority in their planning

Feel so pissed when reading the ambulance don't even got any basic equipments " mask pump" . . .What for they all driving whole way long to there? I feel shame to be a St. John member for this incident , really MEMPER-SIA SUI-KAN St. John face. Negara Tidak Akan Bankrap Jika Subsidi Diteruskan - Awang Adek

KOTA BAHARU: Malaysia tidak akan bankrap pada 2019 seperti Greece meskipun subsidi berjumlah RM74 bilion setahun diteruskan, kata Timbalan Menteri Kewangan Senator Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussein.

Beliau berkata keadaan ekonomi negara pada masa itu tidaklah begitu teruk seperti yang digambarkan iaitu seolah-olah negara tidak mampu membayar hutang jika kerajaan berhasrat meneruskan pemberian subsidi.

Hakikatnya, langkah untuk memansuhkan subsidi ialah bagi mengurangkan kadar defisit negara serta membolehkan kedudukan kewangan negara lebih stabil, katanya.

"Negara tidak akan bankrap. Mana boleh bangkrap sekalipun subsidi diteruskan, tetapi dengan cara itu (mansuhkan subsidi) boleh mengurangkan beban hutang dalam negara yang ditanggung oleh semua rakyat," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas berucap pada Majlis Sepetang Bersama Timbalan Menteri Kewangan, di Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kampus Kesihatan Kubang Kerian di sini, semalam.

Awang Adek mengulas pandangan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Idris Jala bahawa negara boleh bankrap jika pemberian subsidi kepada rakyat diteruskan.

Idris yang juga Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Unit Pengurusan Prestasi dan Pelaksanaan (Pemandu) Jabatan Perdana Menteri, berkata ia boleh berlaku kerana hutang negara dijangka meningkat 100 peratus daripada Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK) menjelang tahun 2019, jika pemberian subsidi diteruskan.

Malaysia merupakan antara negara yang memberi subsidi tertinggi kepada rakyatnya iaitu berjumlah RM74 bilion pada 2009.

Bekas Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad juga tidak bersetuju dengan pandangan Idris itu.

Menurut laporan media, defisit bajet 2009 Greece ialah 13.6 peratus daripada KDNK iaitu sebanyak 2.4 kali lebih tinggi berbanding Malaysia.

Malaysia memperoleh lebihan dagangan sebanyak RM118.4 bilion pada 2009 manakala Greece merekodkan defisit RM105.7 bilion dalam tempoh yang sama.

Pada Mac 2010, rizab antarabangsa Malaysia berjumlah AS$95.3 bilion (RM304.96 bilion), 17.3 kali lebih tinggi berbanding Greece sebanyak AS$5.5 bilion (RM17.6 bilion).

Sehubungan itu, Awang Adek berkata kerajaan mengambil langkah terbaik bagi meningkatkan ekonomi negara, termasuk menggalakkan kemasukan pelaburan asing.

Beliau berkata antara kesan yang dapat dilihat hasil usaha kerajaan itu ialah ekonomi negara berkembang satu peratus pada suku pertama tahun ini berbanding di bawah sifar peratus tahun lepas, yang menunjukkan prestasi ekonomi mula berkembang.

Ketika berucap pada majlis itu, Dr Awang Adek berkata dalam Rancangan Malaysia Kesepuluh (RMK-10), usaha menarik lebih ramai pelabur ke negara ini akan diteruskan.

"Antaranya, pembukaan pusat pelaburan baharu seperti Wilayah Iskandar, Johor dan Sungai Buluh dan Sungai Besi, di Selangor," katanya. -BERNAMA

This is the tittle what they all should name it, " Negara Tidak Akan Bankrap Jika Makan Duit Tidak Diteruskan!! . It's the true Malaysia's many "GENG" politician is "makan penuh penuh minum Starbucks.".

Let's take a example, i'm staying at KL Miharja now. Every Thursday, those "KAWAN BAIK COFFEE AKU" will have sport check in my area. Reason? They're very thirsty, wanna drink Starbucks or Coffee-bean  but don't have money for it, so they will have sport check EVERY Thursday.

It's true, if u come to Miharja every Thursday , u can see many "KAWAN" are very thirsty for starbucks, if u belanja they all drink Starbucks or Coffee-bean, i'm sure they will praise you like a god.

Yea, that's the part for Malaysia's "KAWAN BAIK COFFEE AKU" . Be careful "KAWAN" don't be like a mosquito, after bite and kena smash because of too heavy and u can't fly. You'll be in the jail for someday!

Politician more even diu than those "KAWAN". Love to show off, love to "SAI MENG",love to tell grandfather story. Yes, it's the true, i'm not kidding, got a Datuk show me his gun before and keep on telling me over and over again.
(remarks : dont think dirty please, it's the real gun,not every datuk can have a gun. Only Datuk PADUKA can have it as i know)

Nga Kor Ming 倪可敏 - Malaysian Democratic Action Party Politician

Nga Kor Ming - a well known politician of Democratic Action Party (DAP). He was awarded with the prestigious award - 'The Outstanding Young Malaysian Awards' in year 2007.
A brief introduction of his background. He was borned in Air Tawar, Perak. In his years of studies, he enters University of Malaya Faculty of Law Course as one of the Top 50 candidate. Besides, in the year of 1993 and 1995, he won two country debate tournaments as the Best Debater. In 1997, he led the University of Malaya Chinese Debate Team and win as International Varsity Debate Varsity champion. In 1999, he was selected as District state legislator in the election, also served as parliamentary leader of the opposition party of Perak at the same time. He has become Malaysia’s youngest State Assembly Leader of the Opposition. He also served as the leader of the Democratic Action Party Socialist Youth League since year 2003.

Of all the politicians, he is my idol. I agree with his opinions especially that Malaysia is dying instead of growing, and if Malaysia does not lead by a better leader soon, Malaysia will be in the fail state. When I was working in a phone shop last time, my ex-boss's base customer was Datuk and Datin of Malacca. I've seen the way how a Datuk spend their money.

 Let’s not mention his name, let’s address him as K. I do not agree with his way of spending his money. I would say, he is a politician who always kept himself update with latest cell phone models. Money was never a problem for him. Once there's something wrong with his wife's cell phone, he would just directly get a new one for his wife. In my opinion, although he is rich, but that doesn't mean he should just simply spend his money in buying unnecessary things. I would recommend if he have extra money, please donate to people who need it. Although RM 2k or 3k doesn't seem to be a big sum of money to him, but somehow, it does make a lot of difference to other people. 

Yes, It's none of my business to bother how he spent his fortune because the money belongs to him. But what if all politicians are just like him? Spending money like drinking water? I dare to say that Malaysia will fall very soon. I think Malaysia 2020 should be changed to Malaysia 2012, if you got what I mean. However, Malaysia still have hopes because we’re lucky to have politicians like Nga Kor Ming to fight for Malaysian. He who is a person I believe that really can change Malaysia's future. I believe in DAP's leadership - Nga Kor Ming who I think will be ‘Malaysia’s Obama’, just like Obama, leading the States successfully although he’s not a white.

Making moneys way.

Money Money Money. no money no talk!!

Nowadays, everyone is thinking how to make money for living. There's so many way for people making money, but which would be the FASTEST best way for making money?

Tradition way of making money, parents ask you to study hard, get a bla bla bla university diploma or degree certificate. After that work for some big company and get fix income every month.But that really take a lot of time, u have to spent 3 year for a kinder-garden , 5 years for a primary school , 5 year for a secondary school , 5 year for a university .It total took 18 year for u get the university certificate. If u a freshly graduation baby boy or baby girl, u only able to get 2k income for a month. BUT!! You only able to make money from being an a employee, you wont able to make big moneys.

Be a drugs dealer, is the FASTEST way of making money way.But there's a risk , if u are BUSTED ,and u are dead. This is the fastest way for you make moneys, but also is the fastest way for u to register yourself in Hell .Because once u fail, u are DEAD.

Direct sales also is a good way of making money,but it take time for building a successful network to achieve monthly repeat sales. Take a example of direct sales, i got a few friends that working hard in a direct selling , once awhile they asking me to join them. I do join them, but after a few month of studying the making money way of them. I pull myself off from it, that's just making me lose more friends but not making me more money, and it take really long time for u gain any profit from it. But once your network is strong enough, u can even don't work and let your down line working for you.

Investor is the real making BIG moneys way. But if u wanna be a investor, what u need is basic , money , knowledge. No one can be a investor with a empty wallet, and there's a risk of losing the money.

Yes, blogging also is a way of making money. Example Kenny Sia a famous blogger from Malaysia, the person who make alot of money from blogging. But this doesn't apply for every blogger, you have to spent a lot of time and effort for maintain traffic of your blog. You have to write a lot of articles and travel around and taking some nice picture for foods and etc.

All these just my 2cent for making money, maybe you guys have a better opinion for making money? So just post it up in comment box. :)
